Overview

CloserMX is a productivity tool for salespeople at car dealerships. This policy describes what data we collect, why, how we store it, and the rights you have over your information. If anything here is unclear, write to support@closermx.com.

What we collect

From the people who use CloserMX:

  • Account info: email, display name, and role within a workspace.
  • Sales data you enter: deals, contacts, stages, notes, activities, stage transitions, and deal probability.
  • Contact info for the customers you track in your pipeline (names, phone numbers, email addresses) — you enter these as part of your sales workflow.
  • Billing info: a Stripe Customer id if you subscribe. Card numbers never touch our servers — they are handled by Stripe.
  • Usage signals: request logs, errors, and performance traces needed to keep the service running. These do not include the contents of your deals.

Why we collect it

  • To provide the service — show you your pipeline, sync it across devices, and route events between teammates.
  • To bill you for paid plans via Stripe.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To diagnose and fix bugs, and to make the product better.

We do not sell your data. We do not use the contents of your deals to train any AI model. We do not run advertising on CloserMX.

Sub-processors

CloserMX is built on a small set of reputable infrastructure vendors. Each sees only the data strictly required to perform its function:

  • Supabase (database + realtime) — stores all workspace data. US region.
  • Clerk (authentication) — stores account emails and session state.
  • Stripe (payments) — processes subscriptions. Stores billing address, card tokens, and invoice history.
  • Cloudflare (hosting + CDN) — serves the app globally; sees request metadata but not persistent data.
  • Resend (email) — sends transactional emails (sign-in codes, teammate invitations).

Cookies and tracking

We use the minimum cookies needed to keep you signed in and keep the app working. We do not run advertising pixels, third-party retargeting, or cross-site trackers on CloserMX. If we add privacy-respecting product analytics, we will use a cookie-less option and document it here.

How long we keep it

Your workspace data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel a paid plan your workspace is paused for 30 days (during which you can reactivate or export). After that, it is deleted. Billing records are retained as required by tax and accounting law.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Most of this is available directly in the app (export deals from Settings, delete workspace from billing settings). For anything else — including privacy requests from people outside your account, such as customers whose contact info you stored — email support@closermx.com.

If you are in California, the EU/UK, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (CCPA, GDPR, UK GDPR), those rights apply and you can exercise them via the same email. We respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS everywhere) and at rest (database-level encryption via Supabase). Workspace data is isolated by row-level-security policies so members of one dealership never see another dealership's deals. In a Team plan, reps see only their own deals by default; managers see the whole floor.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top when we make material changes and, where reasonable, email workspace owners about significant updates.
